1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the My Place platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access the Service.
2. Description of Service
My Place provides a website building and management platform designed for hospitality venues including pubs, bars, restaurants, cafés, and nightclubs. The Service includes website generation, content management tools, AI-assisted features, analytics, and related functionality.
3. Account Registration
To use certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to: upload illegal, harmful, or offensive content; violate intellectual property rights; attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems; use the Service for any unlawful purpose; or interfere with other users' access to the Service.
5. Content Ownership
You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service, including text, images, menus, and event information. By uploading content, you grant My Place a licence to display and distribute it as part of the Service. AI-generated content created by the Service is licensed to you for use on your venue website.
6. Subscriptions & Payments
Paid features are available via monthly subscription. Prices are displayed in GBP. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
7. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your website will be taken offline and data permanently deleted after 30 days.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. My Place shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
